Eastern District patrol officers from the Baltimore City Police Department responded shortly before 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15 to the 2600 block of East Hoffman Street, where there was a report of shots fired in the area.
Upon arrival, officers say that they found an adult man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Aid was rendered and the victim was transported to an area hospital by paramedics, where he was pronounced dead later on Tuesday afternoon, the agency announced shortly before 3:30 p.m.
No suspect has been identified, nor has a motive been established by police investigators. No other information was provided about the victim.
The investigation is ongoing.
